NEW PRODUCERS COUNCIL HEADED BY BHARATHIRAJA LIKELY TO BE UNVEILED SOON
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsIt has been announced that a new Producers Council headed by veteran director Bharathiraja is likely to be unveiled on August 2. T Siva will serve as Secretary. Active Producers Council is to be the name of the new body.
Satyajyothi Thiyagarajan has been announced as the treasurer. It is expected that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami will inaugurate the same on Sunday.
Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekhar and others had met the CM recently regarding local body tax of 8 % being exempted and permission to resume film shootings. It is being learnt that the CM has promised to look into the issues and update soon. They had met Minister Kadambur Raju as well.
