In an interview to Behindwoods, members of Nerkonda Paarvai's cast, which includes director Adhik Ravichandran, Arjun Chidambaram and popular comedian Aswin Rao. The actors expressed their euphoric moment of meeting Ajith and the core message Nerkonda Paarvai wants to convey.

Adhik said that the whole shooting process felt like a picnic for them. They had reminisced about the first time when Thala himeslf approached the young team of actors in their caravan. They said that 'When we were sitting in our little caravan, Ajith sir came and asked us 'Can I join boys', we were esctatic and immediately welcomed him. The next day, we had a spacious caravan, but nobody talked about that at all, such is the humility of Ajith sir."

When asked about the things they learnt from the actor, Arjun said that he learnt about how to treat fellow human beings, and summed it up by saying "Love is the only thing we learnt from him." The actors said that when a superstar like Ajith Kumar does a film like Nerkonda Paarvai, the message will reach in a phenomenal way.
