"This Christmas, Shyam will arrive where he belongs. To the big screen and to your hearts," said Nani on his Twitter page and revealed that the movie will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on December 24, 2021. He also unveiled the poster for all four south languages. It is to be noted that this is the first time in Nani's career that his movie is being released in all four south languages.

'Shyam Singha Roy', which is touted to be a period drama, is directed by Rahul Sankrityan. Apart from Nani and Sai Pallavi, the movie features Krithi Shetty, Madonna Sebastian, Jisshu Sengupta, Rahul Ravindran, among others in pivotal roles. Written by Satyadev Janga, the film’s music is composed by Mickey J Meyer. Sanu John Varghese and Naveen Nooli have been brought on board to handle cinematography and editing, respectively. Niharika Entertainment is bankrolling this film.

Nani was last seen in the Telugu film 'Tuck Jagadish' which was released on Amazon Prime Video a few weeks back. He has Vivek Athreya's 'Ante Sundaraniki' and Srikanth Odela's 'Dasara' in his kitty. The first look motion poster for 'Dasara', Nani's 29th film was released on Friday, October 15. Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead in the film. Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi was last seen alongside Naga Chaitanya in Sekhar Kammula's 'Love Story'.
