Nadigar Sangam requests to donate money for jobless artists due to shutdown

It has been announced that all shootings will be stopped until further notice due to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak. This has taken a toll on the income of many artistes who depend on daily filming schedules for survival.

In a recent press release, the Vishal-led Nadigar Sangam has asked people to donate to three bank accounts in order to cover the daily expenses of its members. Recently, top celebrities of Kollywood, including Rajinikanth, Suriya, Sivakarthikeyan and Vijay Sethupathi had donated resources to Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI).
