The South Indian Artistes Association, popularly known as the Nadigar Sangam, has completed its extended three-year term. The polls for the next administration are expected to be held soon.
After the EC meeting of Nadigar Sangam, it was recently announced that the retired Honourable Judge, Padmanabhan, would preside over the forthcoming elections and the office will be handed over to him on May 15.
The president of the Sangam, Nasser, today, has submitted all the documents and details regarding the elections to Padmanabhan and as earlier announced the retired judge would decide the date of the polls and the venue of the elections.

After accepting the documents from Nasser, the election rules and code of conduct have come into effect as the judge has informed that he would visit the election office premises soon and will let know of the date as well.
