KANIYAN POONGUNDRAN RETURNS: MYSSKIN FILM'S SEQUEL ENTERS THIS CRUCIAL STAGE

The film's sequel is currently in the works and the project was planned earlier this year. The project is currently in its early stages of pre-production and the team has started to scout locations for the film. As a start, Mysskin had recently visited the Sherlock Holmes museum in London.

Mysskin had earlier revealed that Thupparivalan is his ode to the famous detective duo Sherlock Holmes and John Watson, the fictional sleuths created by Arthur Conan Doyle. Thupparivalan 2 will also be produced by Vishal under the banner Vishal Film Factory, which had also produced the 2017 film.

Currently, Mysskin is working in the Udhayanidhi Stalin-starrer Psycho, which has Aditi Rao Hyadri, Nithya Menen and others in crucial roles while Vishal will be next seen playing the lead in the Sundar C. directorial Action.
