‘Super Deluxe’, directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja stars Vijay Sethupathi, Ramya Krishnan, Samantha, Fahadh Faasil and Mysskin in lead roles. The trailer of the movie was released recently and fans were awestruck by the intensity of it.
Director Mysskin, who has written the script for some portions in this film has also played the role of a priest. In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, he shared some interesting details about the film and how he accepted to be a part of it, along with the experience of working with Vijay Sethupathi.
Speaking about the director, Mysskin said “Thiagarajan Kumararaja is a close friend of mine. We both share a brotherly relationship. When he asked if I could write the script for some portions, I couldn’t say no. So I did it.”
When asked about actor Mysskin in ‘Super Deluxe’, he said “I agreed to act in this film because the character demanded intensity, and I liked it. I’m not a fine actor, but I felt this would be perfect. That’s why I agreed to do it.”
When asked about Vijay Sethupathi, Mysskin said “He is a fine actor. Very talented. We only got to work together for one day during the shoot." He also revealed a secret, saying "the scene where we both cross paths is very crucial in this film.” Finally, when asked about his character in the film, he said “It is avery intense and interesting character. Thiagarajan asked me not to reveal anything about the character with a gun on my head (laughs). Anything more would become a spoiler. Watch out for the suspense.”
‘Super Deluxe’ has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by P.S.Vinod and Nirav Shah, while Sathyaraj Natarajan has handled the cuts. The movie is all set for a release on the 29th of March. Stay tuned.
