With back to back promising albums delivered from his store, music director Shabir has now delivered a good album for ‘Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja’, which has witnessed groovy response for the songs of diversified genres.
Sharing his words about NNOR from its point of inception to the reception of songs, Shabir says, “All credit goes to Sivakarthikeyan brother. He was one among the first to appreciate my song ‘Yaayum’ even before it actually made its position under spotlight. It wasn’t merely an artificial means of appreciation, but he made me play rest of my composed songs for this album.
It was literally exciting to hear him affirm that we are definitely working together in a project and that’s where our journey of ‘Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja’ began. This is completely a new genre for me and I have given my try with fresh elements.”
Music directors are far more privileged as they get the opportunity to see the film at first and so what’s his take on NNOR. When asked his opinion on the film he said, “It’s fun all over the film and audiences have lots to laugh and of course, a message to take back home. It doesn’t preach anything, but has something to think and act upon.”
Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja is produced by Sivakarthikeyan for Sivakarthikeyan Productions with Kalai Arasu as the co-producer. Featuring Rio Raj, Shirin Kanchwala, RJ Vigneshkanth, Nanjil Sampath and Radharavi in the star-cast, Karthik Venugopalan has written and directed the film. Stay tuned for more updates.
