Meanwhile, the latest update is that Mohanlal will be joining hands with his ‘Drishyam’ director Jeethu Joseph for the sequel of the 2013 thriller movie. In a latest interview, Jeethu Joseph has revealed that their film ‘Ram’ is on hold now and the shooting of ‘Drishyam 2’ will begin after the lockdown is lifted and permission is given for movie shooting by the Government. An official update on the same, along with the cast and crew is awaited.  

‘Drishyam’ starred Mohanlal playing the lead along with Asha Sharath, Siddique and Meena playing crucial roles. The movie had music by Anil Johnson and Vinu Thomas. It went on to become one of the highest grossing films during the time of its release.
