MOHANLAL'S ODIYAN TELLS THE STORY OF..

The movie Odiyan to be directed by V A Shrikumar with Mohanlal and Manju Warrier playing pivotal roles intend to shed light on the story of the infamous Odiyan tribe. The movie, written by National Award winner Harikrishnan will be set in the pre electricity era in Palakkad and northern Kerala. The notorious tribe were goons who were employed to scare your enemy

The Odiyans would hide in the dark and scare the enemy according to the degree of enmity. Mohanlal is to play the last surviving Odiyan as the tribe lost it's prominence and got extinct once electricity lit up the villages of Kerala. Actors Siddique and Nandu also play important roles in this big budgeted film which will shot before 'Mahabharata- Randamoozham'.
