After this tweet, social media circles were abuzz with speculation. Many celebrities had inquired about the actor's relationship status, and the latest addition to this long list is none other than 'Agila Ulaga Superstar'  Mirchi Shiva. The actor asked about whether the rumours were true regarding his wedding in the tweet:

As a response to the tweet, Premgi replied, saying the he is a "Morattu Single", thereby denying the rumours. The actors had previously collaborated in many successful films such as Chennai-28 series, Saroja. On the work front, Mirchi Shiva is currently working in the S.P. Hosimin-directed Sumo, and is awaiting for the release of the Venkat Prabhu directorial Party, which features music composed by Premgi Amaren
