Featuring Prakash Belawadi, Shanvi Srivastava, Shivarajkumar in the lead roles, the film focussed on the story of an undercover cop. The movie is getting remade in Tamil with STR and Gautham Karthik in the principal roles.
Suriya's blockbuster movie Jillunu Oru Kaadhal fame Obeli N Krishna has taken up the project which has been titled as ‘Pathu Thala’ featuring STR and Gautham in the leads. The film will be bankrolled by K.E.Gnanavelraja under the banner of Studio Green.
It is also said that Pathu Thala will be featuring director Gautham Menon Vasudev in a cop’s role. Priya Bhavani Shankar will be seen in a prominent role, actor Teejay who made his Kollywood debut with Dhanush’s Asuran and Kalaiyarasan are also a part of the cast. Music will be handled by AR Rahman.
The film has kickstarted with a formal pooja and the first-day shooting happened yesterday (August 26) at Ennore, Chennai. Currently, Gautham Karthik’s portions are going on in full swing. The actor had taken to his social media to share this exciting update on his Twitter handle. Meanwhile, STR who is presently engaged with Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’s shoot, is expected to join the Pathu Thala’s shoot soon.
