RIP WILLIAM HURT: OSCAR-WINNING ACTOR PASSES AWAY AT AGE 71

Popular Hollywood actor William Hurt apparently died from complications of cancer in the States at the age of 71 just a week before his 72nd birthday. This news has left all the celebrities and fans devastating.

William had entered the acting industry as a theater artist in several stage plays in the 1970s. He made his marked his debut in the film industry as a scientist in the 1980 film Altered States. He had starred in several films including Kiss of the Spider Woman, Dark City, Broadcast News, Black Widow, A History of Violence to name a few. He has also starred in several films for Marvel Studios.

William Hurt won the Academy Award in the Best Actor category for his role in the 1985 film ‘Kiss of The Spider Woman'. He was recently diagnosed with cancer and reportedly died at the hospital yesterday. Hurt's last film, The King's Daughter was released last January.
