MANI RATNAM'S PONNIYIN SELVAN SHOOT STILLS: VIKRAM, JAYAM RAVI OR KARTHI - FOR WHOM IS THIS HORSE GETTING READY?

 Today, Suhasini Maniratnam shared a picture straight from the shooting spot at Pondicherry. An all decked up horse, and a flag moving to tune of the wind - maybe a war scene is brewing? For whom is this horse getting ready? - Well, there are quite a lot of major stars we look forward to, and according to sources, we had already reported that Jayam Ravi has started shooting his Introduction scenes.

Ponniyin Selvan is the feature film adaptation of the classic novel of the same same, by renowned author Kalki Krishnamurthy. The first schedule of shoot is was at the thick forests of Thailand. The cast includes Chiyaan Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Trisha, Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Kishore, Jayaram, Lal, Rahman and a whole set of other stars.

Ponniyin Selvan is being jointly bankrolled by Allirajah Subaskaran and Mani Ratnam, under their Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies banners. Ravi Varman cranks the camera for the movie and Sreekar Prasad is taking care of the editing of this movie, whose music is composed by AR Rahman.
