MAMMOOTTY’S EPIC-PERIOD DRAMA GETS A NEW RELEASE DATE! CHECK HERE

Clearing the rumours, Mammootty took to Facebook to inform the release date of Mamangam. The movie will now release on December 12. The announcement by the actor on his Facebook page has received positive comments. But some were unhappy as they had to wait again for the release of the movie.

Directed by Padmakumar, the movie is a period drama set against the backdrop of a  religious festival held once every 12 years at Thirunavaya, on the banks of Bharatapuzha in Kerala. The cast includes Mammootty, Unni Mukundan, Achuthan, Sidhique, Manikkuttan, Manikandan Achary, Tarun Arora, Prachi Tehlan, Kaniha, Anu Sithara, Iniya and others in prominent roles. 

The movie is produced by Venu Kunnappilly under the production banner Kavya Film Company. The technical team of the movie include, Shankar Ramakrishnan (Adapted screenplay), Ram (Dialogues) Manoj Pillai (Cinematography), Shaam Kaushal (Stunt), RC Kamala Kannan (Visual Effects), Raja Mohammad (Editor), M Jayachandran (Music).

The teaser of the film was released earlier and was well-received by the audience. Mammootty had earlier acted in ‘Pazhassi Raja’, ‘Oru Vadakkan Veeragadha’ in which he did similar characters.
