CORONA TASK REVIEW, 'KUDIMAGAN' PROBLEM AND CRICKET MATCH: A HILARIOUS VENKAT PRABHU LOCKDOWN FILM
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsThe ongoing lockdown has pushed filmmakers to be creative amidst the restrictions, and a fine example of that was the star-studded short film Family, which starred several top superstars including Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Rajinikanth, Mammootty, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal among others.
The short film was shot with the stars staying at the confines of their houses, thereby following social distancing during the process. Another filmmaker to join the bandwagon was none other than Venkat Prabhu, whose made a short film during these times.
Titled 'VP Boys Lockdown Match', the short film featured his Chennai 28 actors 'Mirchi' Shiva, Premgi, Nitin Sathyaa, Ajay Raj, Anjena Kirti, Aravind Akash, Vijay Vasanth, Vijayalakshmi. The five-minute short featured a cricket match between the characters, as they impart the importance of lockdown.
