Thalapathy 63 was officially launched this morning (November 14), with a formal pooja. As expected and reported earlier, this biggie will be bankrolled by AGS Entertainment and directed by Atlee.
 

Lyricist Vivek has been signed to pen the lyrics for the songs, composed by A.R.Rahman. Vivek wrote all the songs in Vijay's previous two films, Mersal and Sarkar, both of which had music by A.R.Rahman. The super successful combo is all set to repeat again and Vivek took to his Twitter space to share his delight on being a part of this biggie.
