Simbu is currently a part of a couple of projects - ‘Maanaadu’ with Venkat Prabhu and ‘Maha’ with U.R.Jameel. His look from ‘Maha’ released recently and stormed the internet. His fans are eagerly waiting for the teaser of the movie. Meanwhile, he will also be reprising his all time favourite role ‘Karthik’ in the short film ‘Karthik Dial Seytha Enn’, which is sequel to his 2010 romantic blockbuster ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’.
V.Mathiyalagan, producer of STR’s ‘Maha’ revealed some exciting information about the project in an exclusive telephonic Interview with Behindwoods. Speaking about the movie, he said “We are almost done with the shooting. We had the last schedule going on and only 8 days were remaining, but the lockdown was announced at the exact same time. The set that we had built for shooting the climax is still there.“
“It is an indoor sequence and once the lockdown is lifted, we will definitely finish the shooting immediately. However, health of all the actors and technicians is our first priority. We will deploy all healthcare measures to ensure that the work environment is risk-free. We have also requested the Honourable Chief Minister for permission to resume the indoor shooting.”
When asked about the most expected teaser of the film, he said “The teaser cut is almost ready. Only one scene is remaining, which we haven’t shot yet. Once the shooting resumes, we will work day and night and release the teaser at the earliest. Fans are really excited, and so are we.”
‘Maha’ stars Simbu, Hansika and Srikanth in lead roles and has music by Ghibran. The project is bankrolled by Mathiyalagan under his banner Etcetera Entertainment and is directed by U.R.Jameel. Watch this space for more updates.
