Lakshmy Ramakrishnan has directed 3 films so far - Aarohanam, Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe and Ammayi. She is back with her next film, titled House Owner, starring Kishore of Aadukalam fame in the lead role. The movie also has Lovelyn Chandrasekhar playing the female lead. Lakshmy Ramakrishnan is introducing Lovelyn, who is the daughter of Viji Chandrasekhar.
The film also has Pasanga actor Kishore playing a crucial role. The technical crew includes Tapas Nayak as the audiographer. Krishnashekhar is the cinematographer and Prem of Magalir Mattum and Kuttram Kadithal fame is the editor. The team is yet to finalise the music director of the film.
Talking to Behindwoods about the film, the director Lakshmy Ramakrishnan said: "I'm super happy that actor Kishore has signed up for this film. He is a fantastic actor and has done a great job in the lead role. As a director, I feel this is a very challenging film to direct. The film is in its final schedule, and the post production work will start soon."
She also revealed the one liner of the film. It will be a love story set in the backdrop of Chennai floods. Hence, we can expect a humanitarian connect to the love angle and this seems to be an exciting project. The team has also constructed a proper set on the ECR to shoot for this film.
While other house sets are constructed using wood/weaker materials, House owner team has taken an effort to build an actual house using bricks, cement and concrete. We hope the effort gone into the production gets translated on screen. It is produced by Monkey Creative Labs.
