The teaser of the biopic of legendary actress Savitri, titled Mahanati released today. The film stars Keerthy Suresh as Savitri, with Dulquer Salmaan and Samantha Akkineni playing important roles.  The story seems to be narrated from Samantha's perspective. 

The teaser is all about Savitri and Keerthy Suresh. Keerthy manages to pull off the role with ease and looks like a perfect fit. The 50-second long teaser, consists of portions where Keerthy scores heavily. 

The background score gives a vintage tone to the film and the grandeur can be felt in the later parts of the teaser. Kudos to Mickey J Mayer for such a pulsating score. The cinematography and editing team have worked in tandem to give us a wonderful output. The visuals are a treat to watch, especially the black and white sequences.

The teaser looks promising. If at all director Nag Ashwin has treated the whole film like the teaser, the film will be one to remember for a long time, like Savitri.
