THE FIRST BLOCKBUSTER TAMIL FILM OF 2018 IS HERE - SUPER PERFORMANCE

With an extensive support from the family audiences, Karthi's Kadaikutty Singam is making merry at the box office, in spite of new films releasing every weekend.

This Pandiraj directorial has upgraded to 'Blockbuster' from its 'Superhit' verdict, by the end of its fifth weekend. As per the Behindwoods Box Office wing's analysis, Kadaikutty Singam has collected Rs 5.75 crores, securing a Blockbuster verdict. Even theatre exhibitors shared that the film is performing well with packed houses even after a month since its release. With this upgradation, KKS becomes the first Blockbuster Tamil film of 2018.

Kalakalappu 2, Nadigaiyar Thilagam, Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu, Irumbu Thirai, and Tik Tik Tik, and Tamizh Padam 2 are the previous hit and superhit Tamil films at the Chennai box office.
