Director Karthick Naren shot to fame following his debut movie Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru, that had Rahman in the lead role. His second film Naragasooran, with Arvind Swami, Shriya Saran, and Sundeep Kishan in the lead roles is in the pipeline awaiting a release.
Meanwhile, he has signed his next film titled Mafia with Arun Vijay, Prasanna and Nivetha Pethuraj in the lead roles. The film is bankrolled by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions. There is an interesting update from this film.
According to the sources close to the development, the pre-production work is almost over and the shoot of the film is expected to commence on July 6th. However, an official update regarding this is expected to be announced soon.
Meanwhile, Arun Vijay was last seen in Magizh Thirumeni’s Thadam which was well-received by the audiences and the critics alike. Actor Prasanna was last seen on screen in the web series - Thiravam and on the other hand, Nivetha Pethuraj was last seen in a Telugu film, Brochevarevarura.
