Girish Gangadharan is the cinematographer for this film. Phantom camera is used which is a revolutionary high speed camera that can capture images at FPS (frames per second) up to an average of 76000 FPS.

Produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International, Vikram will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi on June 3.

The film is being released by Red Giant Movies, a leading distribution company in Tamil Nadu.

Leading distributor AP International has acquired the entire international rights for Vikram at a record price. Also, Prime Media has acquired the US rights to the film.

Vikram is set to release in 891 theaters in the United States alone. It will be released in 415 theaters in Tamil, 326 theaters in Telugu and 150 theaters in Hindi.

Ticket reservation for this has started and is going on briskly. Vikram's film has grossed over $ 250,000 in ticket bookings alone which is 1.93 crore in Indian currency.
