KAMAL HAASAN OPENS UP ABOUT SHANKAR'S 'INDIAN 2'!

The film, which focuses on the life of a freedom fighter against corruption and bribery, was well received.

The film stars Kamal Haasan opposite Manisha Koirala, Urmila Madonkar and Sukanya. The film's music was composed by AR Rahman and cinematographed by Jeeva.

'India' was nominated by the Government of India for the 1996 Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.

In this case, Indian-2 was produced by Lyca Productions. The film stars Kamal alongside actors Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Aishwarya Rajesh and Priya Bhavani Shankar. Anirudh composes the music for the film.

The shooting of Indian-2 started last January 2019 with a formal pooja. Then the shooting was stopped for some reason. Actor Kamal Haasan then hosted the Bigg Boss show.

Meanwhile, Ravi Varman, who had worked as the cinematographer for the film, left the film and Ratnavel worked as the cinematographer for the film in his place. Ratnavel has already worked as a cinematographer in Shankar's 'Enthiran'.

The journalists asked Kamal Haasan about Indian 2 during the Vikram press meet, Kamal replied, "Indian-2 is going to get a better place and the talk of Indian-2 is going on."
