It was just recently that Kamal Haasan had opined that he doesn’t have any qualms with having an alliance with Rajinikanth if it would be for the benefit of the people.

When reporters quizzed him as to who would be the Chief Ministerial candidate if such an alliance should materialise, Kamal said as and when such a thing happens, a call would be made.

He also said that there hasn’t been any talks of alliance with Asaduddin Owaisi of the President of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, whose party has expressed a desire to contest the Tamil Nadu State Assembly elections 2021.

He also said that though he has received calls to contest in several constituencies, he as of now, intends to contest in one only.

Regarding him being denied the torchlight symbol, Kamal says that he intends to go to court and will also seek the intervention of the Election Commission of India.
