Actor Kalidas Jayaram is the son of veteran actor Jayaram. He has acted in a handful of Malayalam movies, and also a Tamil film, Meenkuzhambum Mannpaanaiyum. He was last seen in the Malayalam film Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu, directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, with Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female lead.
In an exclusive interview to Behindwoods, he spoke about his career and how he has rejected a lot of movie offers. He said: "I took a long gap from Tamil films because I think an actor's job is to do whatever character comes to him. He has to adapt himself. But the stories I listen to have the same template of 3 fights and 2 songs. If I get a good film, I will definitely do a Tamil film."
He then played a game segment, where he was given a situation and asked how he would react. The situation given was - He is caught in a lift with Thalapathy Vijay and Thala Ajith. The lift gets struck midway, and he can only save one. Who will he save?
