Kajal Aggarwal is an acclaimed actress who began her acting career in 2004. She predominantly works in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. Her last release in Tamil as of date was Comali in 2019, which featured herself along with Jayam Ravi as the lead pair.

On the personal front, the actress got hitched to entrepreneur Gautam Kitchlu in Mumbai last year. The grand wedding festivities of the actress was a small private ceremony. Due to COVID-19, the event saw only family and friends in attendance.

Now, she herself has confirmed that she will be next seen in Bollywood in a women-centric film that has been titled as Uma. Directed by ad filmmaker Tathagata Singha, the film will be produced by Avishek Ghosh (AVMA Media) and Mantraraj Paliwal (Miraj Group).

Kajal was quoted saying, “I am very happy to be collaborating with Tathagata Singha for Uma and look forward to commencing shoot as soon as the situation around us gets better. I love scripts that are fun, entertaining yet challenging for me as an actor.”
