Sandhya made her debut with Kadhal, which was a sleeper hit at the box office. She went on to star in hits such as Dishyum, Vallavan, Kannamoochi Yenada amongst others.

Post her marriage in late 2015, she wasn't to be seen much. She is even the mother of a cute baby girl. Now, comes the news that she has been roped in for a cameo in popular Sun TV serial, Kanmani.
