Ranjith Kumar, the elder brother of Kaaka Muttai fame Ramesh (Chinna Kaakka Muttai) is now stepping into Kollywood through ‘8 Thottakkal’, an action entertainer, directed by Sri Ganesh, a former assistant of director Mysskin. 

Being an ardent fan of Dhanush, Ranjith wants to become a good actor in Tamil film Industry. “Initially my brother Ramesh was approached for this role, but later it turned on to me. I play the role of Prabha, a pickpocket in 8 Thottakkal.

Thanks to the producer Vellapandiyan sir and director Sri Ganesh sir for providing me this wonderful opportunity. It was a blessing to work with legendary actor Nasser sir in my debut movie itself. Thanks to my entire 8 Thottakkal team for their infinite love and valuable support. I am quite sure that my character Prabha will pierce into the hearts of the audience just as Thottakkal”, says and signs off Ranjith confidently.
