It has already been announced that Ponniyin Selvan, directed by Mani Ratnam, will be released on September 30.

The film is based on Kalki's Ponniyin Selvan novel and stars Jayam Ravi opposite Vikram, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Rai, Parthiban, Sarathkumar and Prakash Raj.
