Now, comes the news that the film has been scheduled to release on April 23. Kangana took to Twitter to pen - To Jaya Amma, on her birthanniversary Witness the story of the legend, #Thalaivi, in cinemas on 23rd April, 2021. (sic). Fans have been left visibly excited.

Bankrolled by Vishnu Induri and Shaailesh R. Singh, the movie will be a multi-lingual project. While the cinematography will be handled by Vishal Vittal, the music will be composed by GV Prakash Kumar and is co-written by writer K.V. Vijayendra Prasad.

In addition to Thalaivi, Kangana has Tejas to look forward to where she will play the role of an airforce pilot. She also has Dhaakad in her kitty. Manikarnika 2 has been announced as well.
