In the video, she said, "Hello, I am Veena Venkatesh. You might have seen me in the Vijay TV serial 'Kaatrukkenna Veli' as Meenakshi and 'Subbulakshmi' in Radaan Media's 'Chithi 2'. I have currently lost these two wonderful projects and it was because I tested COVID-19 positive. I felt very sad. You gave me your love and support and prayed for me when I contracted. You also said that you missed me and messaged me saying that you'd love to see me in the same role."

"I have lost all this love. These two serials were like a family for me. They waited for me for a long time, but my test were delayed by two days. If it had arrived, I would have been back on the sets of 'Kaatrukkenna Veli', but we cannot blame them as they have to telecast the serial. So with a heavy heart, they changed my character in the serial. I am attached to these two roles deeply. My character in 'Chithi 2' would be comical and I really liked it. I feel sad that I couldn't continue in the serial."

"You have given me your love and support to me in this brief period of time. It is my bad time that I couldn't continue in these two serials. Such was the situation. I have thoughts like, 'What if a miracle occurs and they call me back to act in these two serials again? Can we go back ourseleves and act?' I don't know.  If such a miracle occurs, we can meet again. If that doesn't happen, I'll meet you with a new project and a character."

While finishing the video, she warned the audience to not take COVID-19 lightly and asked her fans to wear a mask and be very careful. "Don't think that the cases are coming down. Always keep your guard up and act responsibly. All my dreams are shattered. Whatever I wished for has gone away. I have struggled a lot. We have our happiness both financially as well as mentally, so be careful and wear a mask," she added.
