He has already directed 'Demonte Colony' starring Arulnithi in 2015 and 'Imaikkaa Nodigal' in 2018 starring Nayanthara, Atharva and Anurag Kashyap.

Vikram is paired with KGF star Srinidhi Shetty in this Cobra film. They are accompanied by director KS Ravikumar, former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan from Gujarat, Mia George, Kanika, Mrinalini and John Vijay. Music is composed by AR Rahman. The film is produced by Lalit Kumar.

The crew announced that all filming for Cobra was completed on (14.02.2022). It is noteworthy that the shooting of this film has been going on for 3 years due to Corona outbreak. The movie's posters, single songs were released and well received.

The second single, Adheeraa, was released on April 22 and became a super hit. The song is composed by A. R Rahman and lyrics by B. Vijay.

According to reliable sources, Cobra will be released on August 11. It is noteworthy that there are a series of holidays until Independence Day, August 15.

Apart from these, Vikram is currently starring in Ponniyin Selvan.

The 8th Behindwoods Gold Medals Awards will be held this year on May 15 and 22 at the Island Grounds in Chennai from 6pm to 11.30pm. Ticket booking for this is currently underway.
