POPULAR ACTOR'S MOTHER PASSES AWAY, UNABLE TO ATTEND HER FUNERAL

According to Bollywood based media reports, Irrfan Khan was unable to attend his mother's funeral due to the ongoing lockdown imposed to curb Coronavirus spread, due to which he watched the proceedings via video conference and paid his respects.

Irrfan Khan has starred in many critically acclaimed Indian and International films such as Maqbool, Life of Pi, Namesake, Paan Singh Tomar and Piku to name a few. The actor was recently seen in the Hindi film Angrezi Medium, sequel to his 2017 hit Hindi Medium.

In mid-2018, Khan was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumor, and was undergoing treatment in London and is still recovering from the disease. The actor is a recipient of the Padma Shri award, which was conferred to him in 2011.
