Actor Vishnu Vishal's time-travel film, Indru Netru Naalai, is all set to have a sequel. The R. Ravikumar-directed 2015 film was well appreciated for its unique mix of humour, fantasy and adventure. The film was jointly produced by C.V Kumar and K.E Gnanavel Raja under the banner Thirukumaran Entertainment in association with Studio Green.
The sequel will be directed by S.P Karthic, who had earlier worked as an assistant director in director Ram's Mundasupatti and has also worked as associate director for the 2015 prequel. The story, screenplay and dialogues for the film will be penned by R. Ravikumar himself.
On the techical front, the film will be shot by 'Soodhu Kavvum' and 'Mr. Local' fame lensman Dinesh Krishnan. The sequel features music composed by Ghibran. The filming of Indru Netru Naalai 2 will commence on September 2019 and is eyeing for a 2020 summer release.
The film stars 'Naragasooran' and 'Maanagaram' fame actor Sundeep Kishan and is set to be made as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. The prequel's director, R. Ravikumar, is currently busy with the proceedings of the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer SK 14. Stay tuned for more updates.
