Govind Vasantha is a popular musician predominantly working in Malayalam and Tamil film industry. He rose to fame as the music composer of the 2018 Tamil film '96'. Govind Vasantha is also the violinist of the alternative rock band 'Thaikkudam Bridge'.
The music composer recently came out in support of Chinmayi, after the singer recieved backlash from the industry and social media trolls for speaking out against sexual harassment in the Tamil film industry. The singer-voice actor's membership from the dubbing union was also revoked recently. Govind Vasantha took to Twitter to extend his support to the artist

On the work front, the actor has currently composed the soundtrack for the Vijay Kumar directed Uriyadi-2 and has composed songs for the Geethu Mohandas directed Moothon.
