She was rushed to a private hospital in Bengaluru on Tuesday (July 7). The actress has been suffering from asthma for 35 years now and is undergoing treatment for the same. Jayanthi is on a ventilator and will be under observation for the next 24 hours. Her corona swab came back negative.
Her son has confirmed that she is stable and has been showing signs of improvement. Fans have been ecstatic with this piece of news and are hoping for her speedy recovery.
In Tamil, she is known for her roles in films such as Ethir Neechal and Gopala Gopala.
