Apart from being a well-known screenwriter and filmmaker with a commendable body of work, Gautham Vasudev Menon had also showcased his singing chops occasionally. He had rendered the Ilayaraja-composed classic number 'Neethane Enthan Ponvasantham' from Ninaivellam Nithya for his 2012 romance 'Neethane En Ponvasantham'.
The actor will be lending vocals to the song 'Uyire Vaa' from the upcoming Tamil comedy 'Puppy', starring Varun, Samyuktha Hegde, Yogi Babu and others in central roles. The film features music and background score composed by Dharan. With lyrics penned by RJ Vijay, the song released on October 8.
The film is slated to hit the screens on October 11. Puppy is produced by Ishari K. Ganesh under the banner Vels Film International and the movie is written and directed by Morattu Single. On the technical front, Puppy is shot by Dipak Kumar Padhy while Richie handles the editing department.
