“JOSHUA IS NOT THALAPATHY VIJAY’S YOHAN” - GVM MAKES AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ON HIS NEXT!

The director is currently working on an upcoming project, which is titled as Joshua with the tagline Imai Pol Kaakha, which would be bankrolled by Ishari K. Ganesh of Vels Film International.

The film’s lead role will be played by Varun, who made his debut with Oru Naal Iravil, and was last seen on screen in his recent venture, Puppy. The film also features debutant Raahei as the female lead.

Thanking his producers, Gautham took to his social media and wrote, “Thanking @isharikganesh sir for helping me ‘realise my vision’ & for coming on board to release #ENPT. He saw ENPT & liked it & we’ve agreed to take a journey forward together. More announcements to follow.” He further made a clarification that “JOSHUA is not YOHAN but an equally big idea that needed a big producer!”

For the unversed, as the project’s title bore a striking resemblance to Yohan: Adhiyayam Ondru, the shelved project that was supposed to be directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon with actor Vijay in the lead few years back and music composed by AR Rahman, reports were doing rounds that Joshua was Yohan. However, the director now has put an end to these!
