Kadaram Kondan is an upcoming movie that has Vikram and Akshara Haasan in the lead roles. It is written and directed by Rajesh M. Selva of Thoongavanam fame and produced by Kamal Haasan under the banner Raaj Kamal Films International, in association with Ravindran of Trident Arts.
The film has music by Ghibran, cinematography by Srinivas R Gutha, editing by Praveen KL and art direction by Prem Navas. The shoot of the film is complete and will hit the screens shortly. Meanwhile, Vikram has signed his next film, which will be the 58th film in his career.
This new film will be directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, director of successful thrillers like Demonte Colony and Imaikkaa Nodigal. It is bankrolled by Viacom 18 Studios and Lalit Kumar under the banner Seven Screen Studio. The film is set to release in April 2020, the same month as Ajith's Thala 60. The shoot is set to begin in August 2019.
Vikram was last seen in Hari's Saamy Square alongside Keerthy Suresh, and is also awaiting the release of Gautham Vasudev Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram. He's also working on the multi-starrer epic Mahavir Karna, directed by R.S Vimal. Stay tuned for more updates.
