First look of Anupam Kher as Manmohan Singh in The Accidental Prime Minister

The Accidental Prime Minister is a book written by popular author Sanjaya Baru. The book is about former Prime Minister of India, Manmohan Singh. The book is now being made into a film directed by Vijay Gutte and produced by Bohra Bros.

Akshaye Khanna and Suzanne Bernert will be playing co-stars to Anupam Kher, who reprises Manmohan Singh. The shooting for the film commences in London this week and the team is aiming for a December 21 release.

The first look of Anupam Kher as Manmohan Singh just came out, and it is nothing short of impressive.

Asha Bhosle Ustad Amjad Ali Khan Anupam Kher to be honoured at 76th Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards

According to reports, legendary singer Asha Bhosle, Sarod Maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and veteran actor Anupam Kher will be honoured at the 76th Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards on April 24, held at Sion.

Notably, the awards are named after Asha's own father, Dinanath Mangeshkar, who was a Marathi theatre actor. Union minister Nitin Gadkari will be present as the chief guest for the award ceremony.
