Finding Dory, the sequel to Disney - Pixar’s 2003 release Finding Nemo, released in India on the 17th of June. Having made a record worldwide collection of $136.2 million, the movie also opened to positive reviews in Chennai. The film has got an Above Average opening with about 66 shows and a total collection of Rs. 18,62,418 as per Behindwoods report for Chennai Box Office.
Conjuring 2, Enakku Innoru Per Iruku, Udta Punjab and Muthina Kathirikai are the other releases occupying the box office share. With the positive reviews the movie has garnered and considering the pan audience appeal, the number of shows for Finding Dory can be expected to rise in the coming weeks.
