Arul Saravanan, the owner of Saravana Stores, became famous among the people of Tamil Nadu through his promotional films. Following this he is currently stepping in as the protagonist. The new film starring him and directed by JD-Jerry promotional film directors is titled 'The Legend'. Directors JD - Jerry previously directed the films Ullasam and Whistle, who then directed hundreds of ad films. It is noteworthy that they also directed the Saravana Stores advertisements.

In the movie Legend, Urvasi Rautela makes her Tamil debut as the heroine. Similarly, The Legend was Vivek's last film before his untimely demise.
