EXCLUSIVE: "MASTER IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM VIJAY'S PREVIOUS FILMS..."
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsRaveena Ravi has dubbed for various female artistes in films and advertisements across various languages and has recently lent her voice for Malavika Mohanan's character in the highly awaited Vijay starrer, Master, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
In an exclusive interview to Behindwoods, Raveena spoke about her experiences, working in one of the most highly anticipated films of this year. When asked about her first impressions while watching some portions of the film, she said, "What I felt was that Master was not a regular type of film and was completely different from Vijay sir's previous films. It was very fresh, and that's what I shared with the technicians present at the dubbing suite."
Master marks Raveena's third film with Vijay as a voice artist, how special is it to dub for a Vijay film?, "It's definitely very special," Raveena said, adding, "I share a different connect (with his films) because my mother (Sreeja Ravi) had also dubbed for the heroines of his earlier films. So it's definitely special on that note."
On the acting front, Raveena has two films lined up, namely Kavalthurai Ungal Nanban and Rocky. Initially, both the films were expected to release in March this year but were postponed due to the ongoing nationwide lockdown. Despite these setbacks, Raveena still feels upbeat, yet a bit uncertain about the outcome of her films, "Of course, I am (optimistic). But both my films do not have a bigger star cast, and amidst that, there are other big films lined up (for a release). So the fate of my films is still a big question mark."
