DULQUER SALMAAN'S NEXT TAMIL FILM GETS A RELEASE DATE

Director Bejoy Nambiar who directed the Hindi-Tamil bilingual, David, had recently announced his next film, Solo. This time it’s a Malayalam-Tamil bilingual. The film features Dulquer Salmaan and Chennai-based model, Arthi Venkatesh, wife of cricketer Anirudha Srikkanth who is making her acting debut.

In September 2016, Bejoy Nambiar had announced that he would keep aside his ideas of remaking Mani Ratnam's classic, Agni Natchathiram in Hindi and start with this venture. The first schedule of the shoot started on 14th November and was completed within 10 days with reports stating that the team had worked up to 12 hours every day. Now the unit has confirmed a release date which would be 11th May 2017.

Solo would be Dulquer Salmaan's return to Tamil cinema after Mani Ratnam's OK Kanmani which released in April 2015. There's a lot to expect from this combination.
