“LAKSHMI RAI'S CHARACTER IN THE MOVIE WILL BE..” - DIRECTOR OPENS UP!

Her next movie ‘Cinderella’ is a Fantasy-thriller Horror movie. The teaser of the movie released recently and received a positive response from the audience and fans. A special poster of her character 'Thulasi' from the movie was also released on her birthday and fans are falling in love with her, all over again.

In an exclusive telephonic interview with Behindwoods, director of ‘Cinderella’ Vinoo Venketesh shared some interesting information about the movie and its making.

Speaking about the movie, Vinoo said “This movie will be one of a kind. It is not a usual horror thriller, there’s something more to it. Lakshmi Rai ma’am’s avatar will be very different and interesting to watch.”

Vinoo Venkatesh also added that “For this movie, all of us have given our 200% so that the final product which the audience sees is a good one.We want to make sure that we give more than our best.”

Speaking about Lakshmi Rai, he said “This movie will not be a usual Lakshmi Rai film. She will be seen in an unseen avatar and her character will be really exciting. Her character ‘Thulasi’ from the movie, where she is playing a maid will make everyone go in awe of her acting performances. This performance of her will definitely be loved by the critics and her fans. Sakshi Agarwal too, has played an interesting part. I don’t want to reveal much now as I don’t want to give out spoilers.”

Talking about the shooting of the movie, he said “Once, when we were shooting for a scary scene, post the shot, me, Rammy and Sakshi were looking at the monitor. We usually have another guy as a double for the ghost. At that time, when we were looking at the monitor, he was also standing right next to us, with the make-up on. We were not aware of his presence and when we suddenly looked at him, we got afraid. Sakshi got really scared and she even shouted. This was a funny incident that happened during the filming.”

‘Cinderella’ stars Lakshmi Rai and Sakshi Agarwal in lead roles, along with Anbu Thasan, Robo Shankar and Kalloori Vinoth playing crucial roles. Directed by Vinoo Venketesh who is a former associate of S J Suryah, the movie is bankrolled by SSI Production. Ashwamithra has scored the music for the film and cinematography is taken care by Rammy, while Lawrence Kishore has handled the cuts. Watch this space for more updates.
