Thala Ajith Kumar is fresh from the success of Viswasam directed by Siruthai Siva, and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. Now, he is working on Nerkonda Paarvai, the official Tamil Remake of the critically acclaimed Hindi film, Pink.
The film is directed by H Vinoth of Theeran Adhigaram Ondru and Sathuranga Vettai fame. The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace and the team will be shooting continuously till Mid April.
A few days back, Ajith had given out a statement saying that he is not interested in joining politics, and doesn't have any plans of doing so. However, director Suseenthiran had posted a tweet yesterday night (16th March), requesting Ajith to enter politics.
The tweet read: "Only one person can change the functioning of Dravidian politics in Chennai. Taking into consideration the welfare of the people of Tamil Nadu, we request you to come and serve the people. This is the right time, come our leader, make a change. I am also one of the millions, waiting for your arrival.
Suseenthiran."
While Ajith's political entry seems unlikely in the near future, we have to wait to see if the director's wish gets fulfilled.
