Dhanush’s Pudhupettai traced the journey of ‘Kokki’ Kumar from his rise and fall in the ladder of crime. The film is iconic for its unapologetic display of crime and Yuvan Shankar Raja’s mass soundtracks.

In an exclusive video-call interview with the director who is following the quarantine rules at his home, Selvaraghavan talks about a lot of unheard shooting diaries from Dhanush’s challenging scene in Pudhupettai to how they had to stand in a long queue to drink a glass of hot water during the shoot of Karthi’s Aayirathil Oruvan.

The director has opened that Pudhupettai 2 is definitely one of the most challenging scripts that he has written till date. He is not sure if this would be his next upcoming movie but it yet to be decided if it would be treated as a sequel or a prequel. Watch here -
