AGNI SIRAGUGAL CONTROVERSY: DIRECTOR RESPONDS TO MEERA MITUN'S ALLEGATIONS

Post her stint in Bigg Boss 3, Meera Mitun had alleged that she was dropped from 'Moodar Koodam' director Naveen's upcoming project Agni Siragugal in an unexpected way and was later replaced by Akshara Haasan for the role.

To put forward his argument, Naveen took to his official Twitter account to state that Akshara Haasan was roped in to replace Shalini Pandey in the film and that Meera Mitun was never committed to the project.

To further that, Meera posted the article from a popular media website that carried Naveen's statement regarding Meera's involvement in the film, for which Naveen replied that his following tweet will be his final response to her statement.

Agni Siragugal stars Arun Vijay, Vijay Antony, Akshara Haasan, Prakash Raj, Nasser and others in central roles. The film is produced by  T. Siva under the banner Amma Creations.
