FOUR YEARS OF THALAPATHY VIJAY'S THERI!: DIRECTOR ATLEE'S STATEMENT

Taking to his Twitter account, Atlee tweeted, "#Theri is my favorite film and close to my heart all credits goes to @actorvijay Anna without u nothing would have been possible Na , love u Na thanks for giving me the best opportunity and love my Theri team ,thank u @theVcreations Thanu sir."

Theri tells the story of an ex-police officer Vijay Kumar, who lives with his daughter as he tries to escape from his tragic past. The film also starred Samantha, Amy Jackson, Motta Rajendran, Nainika, Mahendran and Radikaa Sarathkumar in important roles. 

Atlee is currently working in his forthcoming directorial A5, and will also be donning the producer's hat for the upcoming directorial Andhaghaaram, which stars Arjun Das in the lead role.
